As Integrated Planner, you’ll sit at the centre of Healthcare by Douglas’ supply chain, translating demand into action and ensuring our products reach customers seamlessly. Your work will directly influence service levels, inventory performance, and business growth.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping how we understand demand combining sales data, market insight and commercial input into single aligned view. Success in your first 12 months will look like improve forecast accuracy and reduced bias, stronger alignment across sales, marketing and supply chain and a demand plan that the business trusts to make decisions. What You’ll Do
Demand Planning
You will own the demand planning process end to end, playing a key role in the IBP cycle:
Develop, review and maintain data driven statistical forecasts using historical data, market intelligence and system tools.
Partner with sales, marketing and NPD to incorporate promotions, product launches and market activity into a consensus forecast.
Lead the monthly demand review as part of the IBP cycle.
Analyse trends, identify risks and opportunities and actively improve forecast accuracy and reduce bias.
Run scenario modelling and what-if analysis to assess impacts on supply, inventory and financial outcomes.
Build and maintain reports and dashboards to improve visibility and decision making.
Integrated planning
While demand planning is your core focus, you’ll work closely with supply and inventory teams to ensure alignment:
Translate demand plans into clear supply signals for production, procurement and suppliers.
Contribute to IBP forums, providing clear recommendations and scenario insights.
Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to improve end to end planning performance.
What You’ll Bring
4–5 years’ experience in supply chain planning, forecasting, or inventory management
Strong understanding of demand and supply planning best practices
Experience working within S&OP / IBP frameworks
Advanced Excel skills and experience with planning/reporting tools
SAP experience (MRP, forecasting, master data)
Experience in FMCG, consumer health, or pharmaceutical environments would be an advantage
APICS, IBF, or NZPICS certification advantageous
Analytical with strong commercial awareness
Detail-focused, with a commitment to data accuracy
